About the formula
Introduction
A complex scent made on many layers, Paris features notes like rose, mimosa, hiacynth, ylang-ylang, jasmine, iris, musk and a lot of green aspects, woods and powdery notes which together are creating an extremly detailed bouquet. With an obvious 80s spirit, Paris became a dark powdery scent that broke the barrier of time with its classic, timeless and elegant aroma which is for sure one of the most recognizable yet very unique. The formula I am sharing with you today is not the actual work of Sophia Grojsman, but a reinterpretation of Octavian Coifan's from his book "1000 Perfumes" volume 1. In my feed, you can also find a post different types of musks and the famous "Hug Me" accord made by Sophia Grojsman, an accord present in scents like Tresor, Spellbound, Dune and many others having as particularities the big versatility, musky and powdery aspects that can complete many formulas. Let me know if you are going to try this formula and how you will add you personal touch to it, as I really feel to add a drop of smokiness or some very dried fruits along the flowers to give the fragrance more and more depth. Also, if you think this post is useful, don't hesitate to share it. The main purpose of sharing formulas is to create a free data base for new perfumers who are looking for practical information, tips and everything related to perfume making. See you soon! 🧪
