Phenyl hexanol smells like a fresh, floral rose.
Luebke, William tgsc, (1994): Fresh floral rose absolute geranium green muguet lily honey tropical
Firmenich: A transparent floral rose and muguet note with a slight green aspect
Phenylhexanol gives good effect at a low level (e.g. 1%) yet can be used with excellent results up to 20%. because of its soft flowery note it can be used in all perfume types. although not a strong material the presence of phenylhexanol is noticeable throughout the fragrance. extremely long lasting and more tenacious than phenylethyl alcohol.
