Fraterworks: Ethyl vanillin is the superman of the classic vanilla aroma chemicals. it has been in use in fragrances for many decades and forms part of the wonderfully sweet core of tabu by jean carles and coco from chanel.
Traces add sweetness while overdose adds a rich vanilla note. ethyl vanillin is about four times stronger than regular vanillin but it has a slightly more transparent effect, being less inclined to bulk up or thicken a scent. for that reason a truly creamy vanilla is better achieved by combing both vanillin and ethyl vanillin in a proportion that suits you.
Enticing and novel blends can be had by combining ethyl vanillin with heliotropin, sandalore®, florex®, filbertone or sotolone, and of course vanillin: natural or signature synthetic. for that little touch of something magical, top it off with our rich vanellia™ base and vanilla pod tincture.
