Trying to reconstruct the discontinued Scent So Elixir by Yves Rocher which was discontinued and is beloved by my girlfriend. So I tried to reconstruct it for her from only her associations with the scent which were: Floral, elegant, feminine, sexy, mysterious, oriental. This first version turned out to be not at all what she remembered but still is quite nice. I added in a Mysore Sandalwood Base last minute which turned it into a creamy, spicy, slightly animalic, resinous sweet rich scent which reminds me a lot of the honey notes in Naxos by Xerjoff without the Tobacco. Instead, it is a lot creamier and more floral and heavier on the frankincense / patchouli side. I would say its rather unisex, maybe even leaning feminine. Me and my girlfriend both enjoy wearing it. I have further versions that cut out the creaminess which I could also upload if the demand is there!
