Grapefruit Accord

Guys, here is a citrus one 🍊 Olga Shishlova, the owner and perfumer of @shishl_perfumes entered the collective sharing project with a grapefruit accord which she uses in her newest scent Let's Dance. Thanks a lot for your contribution, Olga! 🤍 Here are Olga's thoughts on this accord: 'I often create specific citrus accords for each perfume of @Shishl_parfums, as I did for example with Accord of mandarin in “Mandarin in my hand”- to make citrus perfume last for longtime, or Accord of grapefruit in new “Let’s dance!”- to make it super sparkling. ⁣⁣⠀ ⁣⁣Citrus notes are the best helpers if you want to create diffusion in the top notes of perfume. ⁣⁣⠀ ⁣We’re lucky to have rich pallet of natural and synthetic citrus materials to play with for recreation of any citrus smell. ⁣⁣⠀ I adore the smell of grapefruit! but if you just put grapefruit e.o. in perfume it will most probably give a strong “dirty” facet to perfume🫣so Here’s one of the ways how to make the smell of grapefruit without its oil).
