Fraterworks: Cis-3-hexenol and its ester cis-3-hexenyl acetate are the two most important green chemicals in the perfumery palette. both chemicals are naturally exuded by grass as a a type of defence against cuts and so in combination they produce that characteristic odour of newly trimmed lawns.
Cis-3-hexenol can be dosed higher than its acetate and it is a wonderful way to add natural greenness to floral notes or to simply add a lovely green nuance to a scent.
Owing to the high strength of this material we also offer it pre-diluted to 10% in DPG.
