It's a dark winter night. It's snowing outside and you're sitting in your armchair beside the fireplace. The wood crackles as you gaze at your fully decorated Christmas tree. You enjoy eating a gingerbread man. The smell of spices wafts through the air. Added to this is the scent of the apples in the bowl beside you. You remember the apple harvest with your family. This perfume evokes the transition from autumn to Christmas in my childhood. It opens with an accord of gingerbread spice and apple. It then evolves into a dark, resinous base of fir balsam and amber, evoking the scent of a campfire near the Christmas tree.
