About the formula
Introduction
Long time no chemistry! 🍋It’s so hot outside, but I have a refreshing formula for you 🌊🧪. Originally, Eau de Cologne was called “admirable water” or Aqua Mirabilis and it doesn’t surprise me, as cologne is not really a perfume, but a tabiet water used to refresh yourself on a hot day or simply for its disifectant properties, having a high concetration of alcohol.
Inspiration from Classic Colognes
One of the most legendary eau de colognes on the market ( still on the market!!!) is 4711’s Original Eau de Cologne, which features notes like lemon, bergamot, orange, basil, jasmine, rose and others which together inspired a lot of new released best seller perfumes like Neroli Portofino, Mugler Cologne or Eau de Givenchy. On the other hand, launched in 1912 and featuring notes like lemon, bergamot, rosemary, lavender and thyme, Alvarez Gomez Agua di Colonia Concetrada is pretty much next level in my opinion. Very spicy, long lasting and awakening, Alvarez Gomez cologne works on different kind of cologne, which combines the scent with the therapeutical effects of every ingredient like thyme and lavender for relaxation.
A Basic Cologne Formula
Here is a basic cologne formula which can be very interesting as you guys can add a touch of the notes you’d like to make a cologne along the formula presented here. I would personally add an incense accord which you can also see on my page, as I love my colognes to be a little bit dark stepping aside the classic ones, or maybe some spices, even on your choice, or with my future accord I will be posting these days.
Use and Application
This formula can be used to create a refreshing and uplifting cologne that can be worn throughout the day. It can be customized with your favorite notes, allowing for a unique and personalized fragrance experience. Enjoy the refreshing and invigorating qualities of this cologne, especially during hot weather or when seeking a boost of energy.
