About the formula
Introduction
This accord has been requested many times and I decided to give it a whirl. I personally have not had this cocktail before, but this is my interpretation of what it would smell like based off of my research of it.
Scent Profile
A refreshing orange and bitter liqueur accompanied by herbal notes and rhubarb. I wanted to evoke a cooling sensation as if there was ice as well which is where the menthol comes in and the rosemary gives a mentholated effect as well as gives an herbal touch.
Uniqueness
This accord is unique because it combines the sweetness of orange and bitterness of liqueur with a refreshing cooling effect, thanks to the inclusion of menthol and rosemary. The herbal notes and rhubarb add depth and complexity, creating a balanced and intriguing scent.
Possible Applications
This accord could be used in a variety of fragrances, from fresh and citrusy summer scents to more complex and sophisticated evening fragrances. It would also work well in colognes and aftershaves, especially those with a Mediterranean or Italian inspiration.
Inspiration
This was an interesting one to come up with and I am really enjoying creating boozy accords. I think I might use this accord to make a summer fragrance based around Italy. With notes like bergamot, neroli, fig, olives, cedar. We shall see. What other accords would you like to see?
This accord offers a refreshing, cooling interpretation of a classic orange and bitter liqueur combination. It combines herbal notes, rhubarb, and a touch of menthol for a unique, boozy scent that evokes a cool, summery Italian ambiance.
