Damascone beta gives a very distinctive character to any perfume. it is particularly valuable in rose but has also interesting effects in florals, woody, herbal, aldehydic and fruity perfumes. a version without stabilizer is available under reference damascone beta fab 939697.

According to arcadi boix camps it’s effects are impressive even in minimal doses, he says “it imparts a freshness, naturalness, radiance, intensity, broadness, uniformity and character to any perfume.” he continues: “ as is well known, this is another great chemical in the series [of damascones and damascenones] beta-damascone is less herbal-tobacco than beta-damascenone, and pure rosy, if a bit less natural than beta-damascenone. the material is extremely delicate, soft, fruity, floral, rose-like, and combines very well with other soft ingredients.”
