Description
The last time I smelled Tabac Original without knowing what it was, I thought it might be an unknown male version of Chanel N°5.
In fact, we find the same accord of jasmine, rose, aldehyde, bergamot at the top, amber and infinite musks at the base. Its iris and powdery violet appearance can even evoke Ombre Rose. However, it is woodier, more aromatic, with a lavender note, which gives it its masculine character. A little spicy note of carnation in the background gives it a very clean appearance like an old bar of soap, the one that we found in our grandmothers' cupboards, and which always evokes cozy and comforting memories.
It was recently completely re-formulated for usual legislative reasons, and although the effort was taken to remain as close as possible, its facelift unfortunately made it poorer and above all blurred this subtle vintage effect. which gave it all its charm.
