As an intro for new members, here are some simple scent compositions from older threads. If there is a composition you would like to add, please contact me. Compositions should be short, tailored to the beginner, and use readily available and relatively inexpensive ingredients. The previous thread devolved into chitchat and requests for formulae critiques, which was not the intended purpose, so I have made this a locked thread. I have saved the chitchat in a thread called "Chitchat From the Simple DIY perfume formulas thread" and I put Casper_Grassy's essay on getting started in DIY in its own thread.
