About the formula
Description
Oud Oud Oud! While we use real Oud in all of our fragrances. We studied up and created an Oud accord so that we can better learn and understand it’s complexity. Never be afraid to expand your wealth of knowledge and go outside the box of your comfort zone. Just because you use one thing, doesn’t mean that you can’t learn about it in a different capacity. This was a fun one to create as it used a lot of natural materials and played a significant role in the overall composition. This is very true to life, dark, complex, and intoxicating Oud. It is more in the “barnyard, animalic” side. We love using Oud and all of its beauty it has to offer. But for those that would prefer to use an accord, here is a great alternative! What is your favorite Oud fragrance?
What inspired me to begin learning perfumery was purely for the education of knowing exactly what was perfume made of? What sorts of materials go into our everyday fragrances? It is a very secretive world, perfumery. But I wanted to pull the curtains back and look inside and see what we are really purchasing and wearing. The goal was to share this knowledge with the general public and educate those who were interested in what modern perfumery is, the secrets behind these concoctions. While exploring the world and industry of fragrance in my own and unique way. This is why I share many formulas, so you can get a glimpse into the world that is so foreign to so many. It is intriguing and fascinating. Every accord and formula I post, I use. Exploring the world of fragrance is limitless and love being able to share my knowledge and experience with all of you.
