About the formula
Introduction
Happy Monday everyone! 🧁 Today I am excited to share this beginners/simple orange blossom accord made by Berti Fernández, for perfume making on the more natural side using both naturals & molecules (and a more economical alternative to orange blossom absolute).
Key Ingredients and Versatility
This accord can be diluted in alcohol at 10%, although I personally do it in orange flower tincture to add further depth/intensity. To make it more perfume-like & less like the flowers the indole can be halfed.
Workshop and Learning Opportunities
Also, this Saturday Orange Blossom will be the focus of an introductory perfume making workshop at the Les topettes perfumery in Barcelona, where alongside the use of the accord in a composition will also be steam distilling orange leaves (for petitgrain) & enfleurage process for the flowers to extract their scent.
