Competition Category: HYGGE I would like to paint you an olfactory picture. Imagine your sitting on the couch, wrapped in a soft yellow blanket. While you are enjoying the cozy domesticity of winter, you are drinking a cup of your favourite Chai. There is a crackeling fire in the hearth, and everyonce in a while, you catch whiffs of your favorite sandalwoodiffuser. The technical explanation of the formula: The sandalwoodmaterials and the Cedramber create a basic mellow, dry woody base, for everthing else to sit upon. The Benzoin resinoid & Ethylene brassylate, smooth it out and help with the structure. The Suederal makes it a bit darker and more complex. The Coumarin makes it a bit sweeter and nuanced, it adds a almost edible quality, that reminds me of a Dutch cookie called ´Speculaas´ The Clove and Cinnamon truly shine here, they colour the main part of the formula, and they are responsible for the warming effect. The Nerolidol makes it a bit lighter, backs up the spicyness and blends it all together. Finally, the Frankincense adds a resinous glow to finish it off.
