Rhodinyl acetate gives fragrances a deep, floral and fruity aroma, often used as a flavoring ingredient.
Luebke, William tgsc, (1987): Red rose powdery spicy geranium citrus leafy
Fraterworks: Rhodinyl acetate has some similarities to other rose acetates (it even shares an ifra standard with citronellyl acetate) but with a darker and more leafy quality and significantly longer drydown period. rhodinyl acetate is a lovely rose bouquet note with nuances of citrus and rose leaves.
Use this material to add lasting vitality to rose, muguet, geranium and citrus bases. use it as a basenote counterpart to continue the citronellyl acetate theme through a scent. novel effects may be had mixing this with cyclomethylene citronellal.
Blends beautifully with mimosal®, cyclosia®, phenyl ethyl alcohol, phenyl acetic acid, rhodinol, geraniol, muguet, rose and honey bases.
