Olive oil is a carrier oil used in massage oil blends. it has an light oily texture with a quite quick absorption rate into the skin. add a just enough to a too-slow absorbing blend (e.g 5-10%) to give you the desired absorption rate.not really recommended as a solvent in perfumery compounds due to poor solubility of resins, citrus oils (terpenes), powders and crystals plus will tend to produce rancid notes.
