PerfumersWorld: Jojoba oil is a bland smelling oily carrier oil. it has a fairly viscous texture with moderate absorption into the skin leaving a protective film. ideal for mixing with other lighter carrier oils or blends (10-30%) to increase richness to aid a prolonged massage without constant re-application.not really recommended as a solvent in perfumery compounds due to poor solubility of resins, citrus oils (terpenes), powders and crystals.
