PerfumersWorld“Apricot oil is a bland oily carrier oil. it has slippery texture with slow absorption into the skin. ideal for mixing with other carrier oils (5-10%) to increase slip to aid prolonged massage without becoming too sticky. not really recommended as a solvent in perfumery compounds due to poor solubility of resins, citrus oils (terpenes), powders and crystals plus will tend to produce rancid notes over time.”
