Composition
Freesia is a very well-known fragrant flower and comes from the Iris family. There is very little published data about its chemical composition. But from the available studies, Linalool is regarded as the main component of Freesia, supported with Ionones.
Versatility
The freesia accord can be used in various types of perfumes, adding a fresh and delicate touch to floral, fruity, and even woody fragrances. Its clean, uplifting scent is perfect for daytime wear and can be incorporated into both feminine and masculine compositions.
Applications
This accord is an excellent choice for creating light, airy fragrances that evoke a sense of freshness and joy. It can be layered with other floral notes, like jasmine and lily of the valley, to enhance the floral complexity. It can also be combined with fruity notes, like raspberry and citrus, to create a more youthful and vibrant scent.
