About the formula
Description
Below is a Basic Recipe for making a Fougere.
Many other materials can be added to give one’s fougere creation, giving it its own unique character.
As the Chypre, here are a lot of different styles for the Fougere Accord like floral fougeres, amber fougeres, spicy fougeres, leather fougeres, fresh fougeres, precious woods fougeres, etc.
The accord I am sharing with you is the most basic one, from which you can derivate to others and add your own touch 🧪.

The very first fougere fragrance was created by perfumer Paul Parquet in 1882 for the house of Houbigant. He called his creation 'Fougère Royale' and with it started a new trend in perfumery. He was the first to extract the synthetic component Coumarin, an isolate from the Tonka Bean.
