About The Formula

Introduction

🧪Guys, today I am sharing with you a perfume formula of the iconic, yet modern Dune by Christian Dior. Composed by perfumers Jean-Pierre Bethouart and Olivier Cresp in 1997, Dune remains an icon for the 90s but still featuring a modernity I personally enjoy in 2021. Featuring notes like fig, cassis, rose, sandalwood, lavender and tonka, this formula will serve as a great exercise for perfumers who are looking for information and also for those who want to add their personal touch to the original formula. Personally I would add a splash of lemon, smoky notes or even suede, as I find the combination between citric/fresh scents and leather absolutely fascinating. Let me know if you are going to try this formula and if you do, let me know what do you think about the final formulation you decided to make. Also, if you find this post useful, don’t hesitate to share it. It can help people looking for new exercises and also supports my work! See you soon 🧪❤️
