About The Formula

Description

As the main accord shared by Sab recreates the smell of lilacs, at the end of formula you can see two interesting modifiers that will take this accord in another two different directions. Here is the little story of this accord wrote by Sab 💫: This past spring, the owner of the local flower shop gifted me some lilacs cut straight from her bushes. Originally I kept them in a vase in the kitchen, but the scent was so intoxicating that I ended up taking them to my desk to study the aroma. To my nose, this accord is a near match for those lovely lilacs! While aroma chemicals make up the backbone of this accord, the jasmine sambac absolute and ylang ylang oil add depth and richness that are key to making the accord lifelike. Summary

What is your favourite fragrant flower? I have a few: hyacinth, rose, freesia....and lilac. These are just a few of them. Every spring I hunt lilac bushes in my city and as soon I see one, I simply stuck my head in it. Deep, rich, a little earthy and sooo nostalgic. Luckily, now we can enjoy the lilac accord Sab Finn, the owner of @osmofolia shared in this project. And I can't thank you enough, Sab!
