About The Formula
Introduction
Hello, champagne lovers! As my little vacation is over, I am so happy to be back posting amazing formulas 🥂 Today, the perfumer Fil Maria(@filmaria_0211) the owner of the brand Mas Rivera, joined us by sharing a fizzy, vibrant and bubbly champagne accord awesomly crafted around unexpected naturals and synthetics. For this accord, Maria also structured a materials chart explaining the impact of each to create a better understanding on how they work together. Here it is:
Materials
🥂Frangipani ABS - Incredibly reniniscent of champagne/sweet phenolic narcotic. 🥂Helional- Give watery transparent lift to the formulation. 🥂Supports and bridges frangipani with Fructone. 🥂Alpha Damascone-Plum/dried fruit/yeasty grapes. 🥂Raspberry Ketone- Adds fruitty berry sweeteness. 🥂Fructone- Sugary phenolic. 🥂Allyl Hexanoate- Spiced spirits/hints of fruits. 🥂White Grapefruit EO- Adds fuzzy aspect. 🥂Ambrettolide- Softens/Sweetens/Gives aura 🥂Aldehyde C-12 MNA- Main component of fuzzy aspect.
Inspiration
Fil Maria: This Champagne accord is part of my soon to be released perfume SYF (Something You Forgot). It is sweeter than the yeasty dryness of real champagne, but rather focuses on its fruity and sparkling qualities. Texture is something that has been important in my work and especially the use of aldehydes highlights this aspect. SYF is a perfume based around the interplay of acrid and narcotic materials to remind us of the greatness and chaos of the 2000s. A distant reminder of sticky club floors, vinyl, pure energy and the thought of sunny times ahead.
