Description
One of the most important materials that was discovered was Lilal. Although it has been officially banned and not allowed for use. While there are new “replacers”, other materials that can be used that are similar to Lilial are Hydroxycitronellal/Cyclosia, Nympheal, Mayol, Cyclemax, Florol, Hivernal. None of these are a 1:1 replacer, they can be combined to create a Lilial replacer of sorts.
This accord is built around Hydroxycitronellal and Hedione which are classic and largely used floral and white floral base materials. Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute adds realness and softness which in turn emphasizes the delicate aspect of Muguet.
This is a diverse and universal floral note that is used heavily in fresh and green compositions. Adding a delicate touch to any fragrance or an immaculate floral note on its own.
Muguet is one note that belongs in any perfumers organ and a joy to study.
